AIM-AHEAD Training Programs - Call For Applications
AIM-AHEAD is excited to launch four training programs, each designed to further develop a workforce of researchers from a variety of backgrounds who are proficient in AI/ML and eager to address unmet needs in communities across the United States and its territories. Postgraduates, graduate students, postdocs, healthcare workers, and early-career researchers are encouraged to apply! Applicants may apply to multiple training programs; however, acceptance is limited to one program. Placement will be determined by scientific and programmatic review, as well as the applicant's stated preference.

AIM-AHEAD All of Us Training Program - Cohort 3
The AIM-AHEAD All of Us Training Program is intended to expand research in AI/ML by leveraging the All of Us data and infrastructure (Researcher Workbench). To achieve this, the program trains individuals from multidisciplinary backgrounds to gain proficiency in AI/ML data analysis and apply their expertise to benefit communities across the United States and U.S. Territories.

AIM-AHEAD Bridge2AI AI-READI Training Program - Cohort 2
The AIM-AHEAD Bridge2AI AI-READI Training Program aims to increase and expand AI-READI data access through engagement and training, including the use of AI/ML in analysis and a train-the-trainer model. Through this model, AIM-AHEAD trainees gain the skills to apply AI/ML methods to a wide range of data types and address pressing health challenges with innovative research.

AIM-AHEAD Bridge2AI Clinical Care Training Program - Cohort 2
The AIM-AHEAD Bridge2AI for Clinical Care Training Program expands access to Bridge2AI CHoRUS data through engagement, training, and mentorship. It equips trainees nationwide to apply AI/ML to big data analysis and to conduct innovative research at the intersection of healthcare barriers and AI/ML using a multi-modal set of data elements drawn from a broad range of cohort participants.

AIM-AHEAD & NCATS Health Data Science Training Program (HDSTP) - Cohort 3
The AIM-AHEAD & NCATS Training Program, through a partnership with the National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), was designed to reduce barriers for AIM-AHEAD researchers to access and analyze real-world clinical data. This program provides trainees with the skills and guidance needed to conduct novel research at the intersection of AI/ML and healthcare, using data collected from a broad cross-section of American communities.

Please Note: Current and former AIM-AHEAD Program participants (including awardees, fellows, trainees, mentors, clinical advisors, experts, and grant-writing coaches) are ineligible to apply to the current year AIM-AHEAD Training Programs.
AIM-AHEAD-funded Coordinating Center Personnel and federal employees are eligible to apply, but if accepted, they will not receive the stipend and allowance.
